The 3 Kinds of People Wisdom is Hidden From: Proverbs 1:22-23

Powered by RedCircle

In this episode, Isaac helps fathers teach Proverbs 1:22-23 to their families. He walks dads through the three types of people wisdom is hidden from: the simple, who lack discernment but can grow out of it with guidance; the scoffer, who mocks correction and can turn children against their parents; and the fool, who willfully resists wisdom out of self-confidence. He then unpacks the promise in verse 23, that when we turn at God's reproof, He pours out His Spirit and makes His words known to us. Use this episode as a launching point to pray with your family and tell God together that you love Him and want to learn from Him.

Isaac also shares a Resolute Men Tip from Episode 10, 5 Growing Attacks We Must Respond To, breaking down five growing attacks on the family we need to respond to with wisdom rather than fear: efforts to confuse the next generation, control over the food supply, engineered economic devastation, moral degradation aimed at the nuclear family through things like pornography, and the expectation that we'll stay passive. He closes with a simple framework: don't walk in fear, think through your hard lines ahead of time, make proactive decisions before you're forced into reactive ones, and don't let your family become the slowly cooked frog, gradually numb to what's being normalized around you.
